Existing problem
A: Short meantime between failure due to erosion
B: Cv value limitation, 2 choke sizes are need to cover flow requirements
Causes of problem
A: Contaminants and high delta P in fluid creating high erosion at valve seats
B: Initial high delta p requires small Cv value. Well pressure drops relatively fast and then a full bore valve is required to eliminate production losses
Solutions
A: Dux seats are given the design and material choice less sensible for erosion
B: In the Duxvalves a low noise trim can easily be replaced by a full bore trim to minimize delta P
