This allows us to deliver a perfect combination of valve and actuator relatively quickly.

Duxdrive
As our valves are often used for modulation purpose, a high accuracy of the valve stem is required. Therefore, a smooth running output rotation has become one of the key features of the Duxdrive actuator. For special applications custom output angles are possible.
The Duxdrive actuators are:
- Certified to SIL 3/4
- Suitable for use in explosive areas according to
ATEX 2014/34 EU - Ingress protection according to IEC-60529 IP 67
- Quality assurance system ISO 9001-2015
Our actuators are also suitable for use in combination with valves manufactured by third parties.
DDP series
The Duxdrive (DDP series) is a pneumatic spring return or double acting actuator with a rotary output to suit the Duxvalves to operate on/off or modulating.

Duxgear
Our newest edition is the Duxgear. The Duxgear is a gearbox suitable for choke and control valves and severe circumstances.
FEATURES
- Output torque: 750 Nm;
- Output rotation: 180°; capable for operation of choke valves with an opening angle larger than 90°
- Gear ratio i = 30 (output / input torque)
- Material: stainless steel AISI 316; for offshore / marine environment
- Temperature range: -20 / 90 °C
- Valve interface according ISO 5211 F12 with bore Ø25 and 4x keyway for four different mounting positions
- End stops with extra undertravel in the open position: OPEN: +5 / -25°; CLOSE: +5° / -5°. Ideal for choke valves with modulating applications
General
The rotating disc type chokes can also be equipped with an actuator for remote control operation. Chokes fitted with an actuator can be operated on/off, stepping or modulating.
The discs in the Duxvalves can be rotated by means of a hand wheel or lever. In general, all types of chokes can be manually operated. The gearbox will be equipped with a side mounted hand wheel. Both manually and actuated chokes can be equipped with open-close limit switches.
