Short meantime between failure

Causes of problem

A: Contaminants in fluid creating high erosion at valve seats
B: Valves are mounted upside down. Sand is gathered on top of the cage which causes that valve stick and will not open icw actuator overload

Solutions

A: Dux seats are given the design and material choice less sensible for erosion
B: The upside down mounting does not influence the stroke of the rotating Duxvalve

Results

After extensive period of testing the seats look new and no sticking effect was seen
Increase of flow capacity and less downtime
